Long-Term Appreciation.
Investment in high-quality U.S. growth companies,
large and mid-cap, with reasonable valuations, companies that
have demonstrated the ability to perform well through changing
market conditions.
Small-Cap Equity.
Investment in small U.S. companies at an
innovative stage in their growth, companies that our research
indicates have the ability to capitalize on developing trends
in technology, demographics, social values, and/or the economy.
International Equity.
Investing in high-quality companies outside
the U.S., located in Europe, Japan, Asia and in emerging markets.
An appropriate selection of international stocks has the potential
of restraining a portfolios volatility while increasing
its growth potential.
Fixed Income.
Investing in bonds, particularly tax exempts.
Our strategy is oriented not just to income but to total return,
on an after-tax basis. It is a market-sensitive strategy, seeking
to protect the investor from the potentially negative effects
of interest-rate and supply-demand trends.
